Yan Home

E-commerce web design for a home accessories company that aims to bring inspiration and solutions to its audience.

Objective

While starting with a Shopify template, Yan Home is still looking for a more customized design that delivers its brand image precisely and has more flexibility to manage content in the future. During the process, I asked questions to discover their vision and drew sketches to communicate.

I provided different options to make sure that they would receive the outcome they were looking for.

What's the goal

Ask questions and make lo-fi mock-ups on the fly to ensure that I truly understand what their goals are.

Customizable options for different information sections

One of the major pain points is that my client has limited knowledge of coding which makes it challenging to fully customize their whole site or different information sections with a Shopify template.

So I reviewed their current site, understood their customization needs for each section, and created a few lo-fi mockups in our first meeting. The mockups suggest more design options and make sure we are on the same page.

Branding direction

Yan Home isn't fully satisfied with its original branding guide. This gives me more design flexibility and a chance to explore their vision.
